Norwich v West Ham

West Ham are another team that had 120 minutes of FA Cup football in midweek, with their extra-time win over Liverpool on Tuesday.

The Hammers are not playing that well anyway, but fatigue from that tie is part of the reason I am backing Norwich here, despite the Canaries' dismal form that has seen them lose five league games in a row and drop into the bottom three.

The last time Norwich had a positive result was when they won back-to-back home games against Southampton and Aston Villa at the turn of the year.

Alex Neil's team have conceded eight goals in their past two home games and they desperately need their results at Carrow Road to improve because their away form is not going to keep them up.

Lawro's prediction: 2-0

Ed's prediction: 1-1

Re: Lawro
I don't see how playing 120 minutes on Tuesday is going to affect us on Saturday.

Once again his rationale for his prediction seems at odds with clear thinking.

West Ham aren't playing that well anyway ...... After beating yet again a Liverpool team who on my cards are going to win the treble this year.

'The Hammers are not playing well anyway'

That result on Tuesday must be still hurting.

I don't think it's a prediction on his part. More like wishful thinking

Re: Lawro
So Liverpools epic penalty shoot out win v Stoke midweek would serve as a boost to them winning the next game, which was the home tie of the FA Cup against us.

But our epic midweek win serves us with nothing more than fatigue!!

What an absolute grade A cunt he is..... It's obvious he's deliberately stoking the fire now..
Poor cunt must be seething inside, knowing we spanked his beloved Liverpool 3 times this season!!

What a pathetic poof!

Does he ever not predict a Liverpool 2-0 win. Every fucking week as well as us losing
